Aluminum Roller Shutter Profile Components
1. Aluminum Shutter SlatExtruded aluminum shutter slats are available in various structural designs, including single-layered, hollow, and double-layered configurations. Internal reinforcing ribs can be added to the profiles to enhance structural rigidity, while the curved, interlocking edge design ensures smooth operation during opening and closing.
Additionally, perforated slats are available for applications requiring ventilation or partial visibility.
2. Roller Shutter Guide Rail
Aluminum guide rails keep the shutter slats aligned as they move up and down. The reinforced channel design provides stable support, while built-in grooves accommodate brush strips or rubber seals to help reduce noise and prevent dust from entering.
Guide rail sizes and cross-sections can be customized to fit different roller shutter systems.
3. Bottom Slat Profile
The bottom bar forms the lower edge of the roller shutter and provides additional stability. Some designs feature a groove in the bottom bar that accommodates an EPDM rubber seal, which helps to minimize the gap between the roller shutter and the floor.
Bottom bar profiles can be customized based on the width of the roller shutter, sealing requirements, and assembly design.
